of Education, Legislature and the Executive Office of the Governor;
directing and coordinating all special research while working with the
Miami-Dade County School Board members, staff and department directors.
CHAIRPERSON OF FLORIDA GOVERNOR’S HAITI ADVISORY BOARD
2004 - 2005
Served as the Chairperson of a seventeen-member Task Force and nine
Haitian-American elected officials, that would make short and long-term
recommendations to the Governor Bush on how the State of Florida could
help in the reconstruction of Haiti. The Haiti Advisory Group has also
listened to extensive testimony from Haitian government officials, the
private sector, civil society, various political groups, non-profits,
Embassy officials, USAID and the State Department, in Florida and in
Haiti. The thoughts and comments have been incorporated in the final
report and recommendations presented to the Governor in April 2005. For

PROJECT MANAGER OF USAID CONSULTATIVE CONFERENCE ON THE REBUILDING OF
HAITI
2004
Coordinated all aspects of the Conference and acted as the conference
moderator. Identified and researched topics for discussion and
conference facilitators. Conference was held in May of 2004 in Miami and
attended by over 200 conference participates. Simultaneous workshops
were conducted in the areas of Trade, Investment and Job Creation.

and processors. Prepared company brochures, company profiles, needs
assessments, client satisfaction surveys, donor letters and press
